This game is pretty much amazing, and this is the first game that I have played with the Shin Megami Tensei brand. The cell-shaded graphics with an interesting story makes this game a keeper.
The pros:
Graphics are excellent
Storyline is excellent
Turn-based combat (which I love)
Cons:
Game is pretty difficult (at least in my opinion)
When the main character dies, then it's game over even though you have demons/angels in your party who are still alive.
No voice talent, it's all text based dialogue.
This game deserves an 8.5/10. It's a good game, but good luck finding it and not playing a 100 dollars for it.
I have been a fan of Grand Theft Auto when GTA III first hit the PS2. I have bought every single GTA game since the release of GTA III and enjoyed them all. Unfortunately, I did not like GTA IV and after a week of buying it on sale, I stopped playing the game.
The game for lack of a better word is amazing both visually and storywise. The main character is Niko Belic and he just came to America to visit his cousin Roman who runs a Taxi agency. The story then follows topic GTA format.
The only problems that I had with it is the driving. Unfortunately this one flaw has turned me off of the game. I hope that future games will have better car handling than GTA IV. Of course this is just my opinion and I could be wrong.
